Originally a hardcore techno act....baDmRfRosTy is presently experimenting with break beats and analog synthesizers, played in real time.
BaD mR fRosTy records live to tape... down side... is that he tends to clear the dance floor and get fired from gigs.
However the project continues to find the odd fan with too much time on his hands, and frosty is currently (2003) on a second winter tour of Central America. Artist History baD mR fRosTy (AKA John Peer) began as the keyboard player for the Canadian band Portrait in 1986, then played in a bunch of crap (and a couple not-so-crap) cover bands including Stages, XSNRG, Dawn Patrol, Kick, etc etc until joining the all-original hard rock band Brave New World, from Vancouver. Some of you will remember the band "Yeah Whatever", and the 151 after-hours club in Vancouver.... well wake up, that was fRosTy too... After seven years the access to cheap booze and drugs in BC forced a move back to the motherland of Nova Scotia. There the project continued from a small boathouse on St. Margarets Bay. Since 2000, during the spring and summer fRosTy chills in the UK. During the winter of 2003-2004, fRosTy is teaching math in Guatemala City, where the students have no idea who he is, which is just as well...From 1986 on, frosty has played keyboards with Portrait, Stages, XSNRG, Kick, Brave new World, Yeah Whatever, Sweet Tooth, and Jimmy C and the Dragons. In addition he appears solo in the electronic scene in Canada, the UK and Central America. FrosTy currently lives near Liverpool, England, with a divorce and no children...
